Reorganization of the DC 8 unit: the commander threatens to go to Maidan

The head of the DC 8 unit within the State Border Guard Service, Yuriy Kasyanov, expressed dissatisfaction with the unfounded reorganization of this unit, which actively operated deep into Russian territory. Additionally, the commander of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Robert Madyar Brodii, agreed with his opinion, calling for the preservation of specialists and not scattering experienced personnel with relevant qualifications, reports Glavkom.

In his post on Facebook, Kasyanov expressed his intention to participate in the protest at Maidan to draw attention to the situation, noting that the goal of the unit is solely the desire to participate in the war as a team, not political squabbles. He also pointed out that the fighters of the DC 8 unit actively operated on Russian territory, and their achievement could be a strike on the Moscow Kremlin.
