Insurance Records Won’t Disappear After June 10 – Digitalization Continues
Digitalization of Employment Records in Ukraine
According to Пенсії (RSS): Contrary to some concerns, insurance records will not vanish after June 10, 2026. The effort to digitize paper employment books is ongoing and will continue beyond that date. Physical employment records will remain valid for confirming work history, and retirees do not need to resubmit their paper books.
Digitization of employment records can still be completed after the specified deadline. For those who haven’t yet digitized their records, all previously earned work and insurance history remains intact and unchanged. The paper employment book will continue to serve as acceptable proof of employment periods, including when applying for a pension.
Why Digitization Matters
Pensioners’ work history is already stored in the information systems of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. The goal of digitization is to preserve this data in electronic format and protect it from loss or damage. This ongoing improvement makes the system more reliable and user-friendly for citizens.
Cleaning and digitizing employment records represents a major step in modernizing Ukraine’s pension system. It not only safeguards vital information but also simplifies the process of receiving pension benefits. The shift to digital systems helps reduce risks tied to lost documents and improves access to employment history data.
As the digital transformation of employment records progresses, it's important for citizens to stay informed about the ongoing changes. For a deeper understanding of how the digitization process will unfold beyond the upcoming deadline, you can explore more details in our article on the continuation of digitizing employment books. This information is crucial for ensuring that your work history remains secure and accessible.
