The Dnipro-Donbas Canal Directorate, operating under the State Water Resources Agency, entered into agreements with a private firm for electricity provision. These contracts included several supplementary agreements that raised the cost. Expert analysis revealed that the electricity prices were already exaggerated when the primary contract was signed, with the agreed rates significantly exceeding market values. As a result, the supplier received more than 67 million hryvnias, causing substantial financial harm to the government.
