Podolyak spoke about the expulsion of Russia from the UN Security Council

Russia has illegally occupied a seat in the United Nations Security Council.

This issue needs to be addressed, wrote the advisor to the head of the President's Office, Mykhailo Podolyak, on Twitter.

Russia is currently destroying international security and legal systems.

'We need to correct fatal mistakes. The Russian Federation has illegally occupied a seat in the UN Security Council. Whether due to the corruption of that time or legal negligence, the RF has usurped the right to veto and systematically destroys international security and legal systems. It is time to return to the rule of law and the UN Charter,' he noted.

In September, the RF vetoed during a vote on a resolution that demanded the immediate withdrawal of Russian occupying forces from Ukraine.

Last month, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution calling for Russia to pay reparations to Ukraine.

The RF has committed genocide against the Ukrainian people. Russian occupiers have caused damage to Ukraine amounting to $600800 billion.
