Ukraine will be hit by rain on September 12: which regions are expected to have thunderstorms

Ukrainian meteorologists forecast the weather for September 12 with precipitation, which will vary throughout the country. According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, Thursday will bring variable cloudiness and rain, which will differ depending on the region.

Regional weather features

In western Ukraine, a complex weather situation is expected with significant rain at night and moderate rainfall during the day. Rivne and Khmelnytskyi regions may be covered with precipitation throughout the day. In central and eastern regions, there will be no precipitation in general, although in some areas short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible.

Temperature regime and wind

The wind in the country will be easterly and south-easterly at a speed of 5-10 m/s. At night the temperature will range from 9 to 14 degrees, during the day from 18 to 23 degrees, and in the southern part of the country it may reach up to 26 degrees. The warmest will be in the Odesa region - up to 17 degrees.

Forecast for Kyiv region and the capital

In the Kyiv region and the city of Kyiv, variable cloudiness without precipitation is expected, and a south-easterly wind of 5-10 m/s. The air temperature at night will be 9-14 degrees, during the day 18-23 degrees in the region and 21-23 degrees in the capital.

Significant rains are expected in the western regions, noticeably warmer in the south, without precipitation.
