Gentlemen: police destroyed 21 thousand narcotic plants and blocked sales worth 200 million

In August of this year, a large-scale special operation called 'Gentlemen' took place across Ukraine. The police conducted a series of searches and discovered and destroyed more than 21 thousand narcotic plants. Additionally, 57 kg of cannabis and illegal equipment were seized.
As a result of this operation, 4.2 tons of narcotic substances were destroyed, causing damage to drug dealers amounting to over 200 million hryvnias.
Currently, 14 people have been suspected, while another 43 are awaiting this document. In particular, a gang engaged in illegal cannabis cultivation was uncovered in Cherkasy region, and narcotic plant crops were destroyed in Zhytomyr region.
The successful special operation 'Gentlemen' significantly helped reduce the amount of drugs illegally entering the market and uncovered some illegal groups engaged in their production.
