Police rescued people and animals: video of the first minutes after the shelling of Chernivtsi
According to glavcom.ua: The patrol officers showed themselves to be real heroes when they arrived at the damaged house after the nighttime rocket attack in Chernivtsi. They not only rescued the injured but also evacuated residents along with their pets. This was reported by 'Glavkom', referencing a statement by the First Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Beloshytskyi.
Just before three in the morning, the city was shelled, and one of the shells hit a multi-storey building. The patrol quickly came to help, inspected the scene, and checked the apartments to ensure everyone received assistance.
“Also, without wasting time, they began evacuating residents and took their four-legged friends out of the houses,” Beloshytskyi noted.
According to preliminary information, as a result of the attack in Chernivtsi, two people died, and another 26 were injured, with 7 hospitalized.
The patrol officers proved to be true heroes by promptly responding to the rocket attack in Chernivtsi. Thanks to their efforts, assistance was provided to the injured and residents, including their pets, were evacuated. Their mobility and ability to quickly respond to complex situations were crucial in reducing possible losses among the civilian population.
