According to glavcom.ua: Russian occupiers, held captive by the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, have been helping to restore the house of a resident of the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region in recent days. The woman, who is raising three sons, one of whom is injured and the other is currently at the front, became a victim of shelling by a Russian projectile. Immediately after the event, the military decided to help the woman restore the damaged house.

Everything was fine, beautiful. With wallpaper, the floor even, painted, and then a shell came right before the doorstep, such a (shows size, - ed.) huge thing flew into the yard. And it started leaking (the roof, - ed.), it was a nightmare. As soon as it rains - catastrophe. Sasha (one of the sons, - ed.) is at home after two wounds. He made the ceiling for me. And Slava (one of the sons, - ed.) said that later we will start inside. We are waiting for him

According to the Geneva Convention, prisoners of war can be engaged in work related to the restoration of civil infrastructure. The brigade also reported that Russian prisoners of war voluntarily joined the work to restore damaged residential buildings. Most of them have experience in construction, so they are now actively working on repairing roofs, facades, and the interiors of damaged houses under the supervision of Ukrainian military personnel.

As a result of a prisoner exchange, Ukrainian paratroopers received ten Russian soldiers who attempted to occupy territories in the Sumy region. Having received consent for the exchange, the Ukrainian military is ready to exchange Russian prisoners for their compatriots. In addition, an occupier who showed complete ignorance regarding the capitals of Russia and Ukraine, indicating a low intellectual level of the aggressors, was captured by the Ukrainians.
