Poland Scrambled Fighters Due to Russian Strikes on Western Ukraine

According to glavcom.ua: At dawn on July 12, the western part of Ukraine was subjected to a massive strike by Russia. The enemy is attacking peaceful cities with drones and missiles. As a result, Poland has scrambled military aircraft, reports 'Glavkom'.
'Due to the activity of Russia's long-range aviation, which strikes at targets in western Ukraine, an operation of Polish and allied aviation in Polish airspace has begun,' the Polish Ministry of Defense reported.
Another pair of fighters have been scrambled, and ground-based air defense systems and radar reconnaissance are on high alert.
'The measures are aimed at ensuring security in areas bordering the threatening zones. The operational command is monitoring the situation, and the forces and means remain ready to respond immediately,' the statement said.
Poland has scrambled military aircraft in response to Russia's attack on the western part of Ukraine. Currently, security measures are underway to ensure safety in border areas.
