Poland revealed how many Ukrainians work officially
According to information from 'Polish Radio', the number of foreigners working under official labor contracts continues to grow in Poland, and among them, Ukrainians prevail. According to published data, the total number of foreigners who have legal jobs in Poland and pay the corresponding contributions exceeds 1,230,000 people.
'If we consider that there are more than 16 million insured people in Poland, regardless of their nationality, it follows that eight percent of those working in Poland are foreigners. This is a lot, and this figure has increased in recent years. As a result, the number of foreigners in the Polish labor market is growing. Our Polish employers are undoubtedly pleased with this,' emphasized expert Katarzyna Dembkowska from the Polish Economic Institute.
Overall, foreign labor in Poland is most often employed in the manufacturing industry, transport services, freight transport, logistics, and construction. It was previously reported that Ukrainians in Poland would be deprived of the right to employment.
According to 'Polish Radio', the number of foreign workers working officially in Poland is increasing. Ukrainians make up a significant portion of this category of workers. Experts note that the flow of foreign workers is growing, which elicits a positive reaction from Polish employers.
