According to hvylya.net: Polish Railways expressed a desire to receive financial support from the European Union for a military mobility program. According to them, this will help ensure the rapid movement of heavy military equipment if necessary.
'PKP aims to receive EU support for investments in new cars, tank platforms, mobile ramps, and other equipment necessary for military mobility,' emphasized Tomasz Lahowicz.
The cornerstone of this initiative is also the work of the European Commission on relevant legislative acts in this area, which will contribute to the security of NATO's eastern flank and the borders of the European Union.
Polish Railways are actively working on implementing the military mobility program and hope for EU support in this matter. This will help enhance the region's defense capability and respond to potential threats quickly and effectively.
