Leonid Yakovishin, the CEO of LLC 'Land and Will', has died

At the age of 86, Leonid Yakovishin, the CEO of LLC 'Land and Will', passed away. His death was reported by the Bobrovitska territorial community, according to 'Glavkom'.

Leonid Yakovishin is known not only as an agrarian who owned more than 32 thousand hectares of land but also as a man who built his own mausoleum in Bobrovitsa, Chernihiv region. The cost of the mausoleum, which was built in the style of Napoleon's mausoleum, is 3 million dollars, which constitutes a third of the community's budget. Inside the mausoleum, one can see copies of stained glass windows from a 600-year-old German church and four gilded sculptures of Yakovishin, depicting him at various ages, as well as a sarcophagus weighing 23 tons and worth 150 thousand dollars.

Accusations of treason and a scandal with the military

These suspicions arose due to the fact that during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in February 2022, when Russians were looting and destroying enterprises and farms in the Chernihiv region, the facilities of LLC 'Land and Will' remained untouched. In one interview, Yakovishin claimed that there were no occupiers in the territory of the Bobrovitsky district, which contradicted the testimonies of local residents.

It is also known that during the active hostilities in the Chernihiv region in 2022, when Ukrainian soldiers approached Yakovishin with a request to provide equipment for combat tasks and defense of the region, he refused and caused a scandal. The military personnel were forced to seize the necessary equipment forcibly. A few months after the retreat of the Russian troops, Yakovishin filed a complaint against Oleg Oleshk about 'false reporting of a crime', but the court closed this criminal case.

Leonid Yakovishin publicly opposed the independence of Ukraine.
