The founder of the Green Grey band, Andriy Diezel Yatsenko, has passed away at the age of 55

Member of the rock band Green Grey, Andriy Yatsenko (Diezel), passed away on October 20 from heart failure caused by ischemic heart disease. This was announced by the band's management on their Facebook page.

"Andriy Diezel Yatsenko left this world on October 20, 2025, due to heart failure caused by ischemic heart disease, which stopped beating at nine o'clock in the morning. The founder of Green Grey and tireless artist remained in the hearts of an entire generation that grew up on his energy, giving creative life to many young stars," the statement said.

Farewell to Andriy Yatsenko will take place on October 23 from 09:00 to 11:30 at the 'House of Cinema' of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine, located at: Saksahanskyi Street, 6, Kyiv.

The Ukrainian musician, who passed away at the age of 55, received high appreciation from representatives of the music community, including Ruslana, Artem Pivovarov, and Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.

Andriy Yatsenko (Diezel) left this world, leaving a mark in the hearts of his admirers. Farewell to the musician is scheduled for October 23, where his family, friends, and fans of his creativity will express their gratitude.
