According to Мін. Оборони: The Ukrainian Defense Forces have assigned more than 800 digital officers to drive modernization and improve military efficiency. This push includes 35 newly trained digital transformation leaders who recently graduated from the CDTO Campus, highlighting the focus on specialized expertise in this field.
These officers will oversee the deployment and maintenance of advanced tools and platforms, such as:
- Army+
- Delta
- combat systems
- electronic document management
The goal is to speed up operations and streamline internal workflows across military units. For an English-speaking audience, this initiative reflects Ukraine’s broader effort to integrate modern technology into its defense infrastructure, a trend increasingly seen in armed forces worldwide.
By embedding digital officers, Ukraine is signaling a strong commitment to digitizing its military sector, which could significantly enhance command processes and overall combat readiness. This move is part of a larger strategy to update the Armed Forces, aligning them with current technological demands and operational challenges.
