Ukrainians import a record number of cars: TOP-10 models named
In September 2025, according to the 'Ukravtoprom' association, Ukrainians registered more than 23,300 used passenger cars imported from abroad. This is 37% more than the same month last year, and 3% more than in August.
The majority of this segment consists of gasoline cars, which occupy 45% of the market, followed by electric vehicles - 29%, diesel cars - 18%, hybrids - 5%, and cars with gas equipment - 3%. The average age of cars that switched to Ukrainian registration was 8.4 years.

- Volkswagen Tiguan - 692 units.
- Renault Megane - 671 units.
- Nissan Leaf - 651 units.
- Skoda Octavia - 644 units.

- Nissan Rogue - 526 units.
- Kia Niro - 495 units.
Since the beginning of 2025, Ukrainians have purchased 181,800 used passenger cars from abroad, which is 3% more than in the first nine months of 2024.

In September 2025, Ukrainians actively registered used cars imported from abroad. Gasoline cars remain leaders in this segment, but the demand for electric vehicles and hybrid cars also proves to be quite high.
