Poroshenko approved a decree to combat terrorism

The decree, drafted by the National Security and Defense Council on January 25, which defines emergency measures to counter terrorism and threats from the Russian Federation, has been signed by President Petro Poroshenko.

According to this document, Ukrainian authorities are to assist those affected by terrorists in Eastern Ukraine, particularly residents of Mariupol and other settlements. Refugees and displaced persons must be provided with housing, as stated in the decree.

The self-proclaimed 'DPR' and 'LPR' are referred to by the National Security and Defense Council as terrorist organizations.

The Ukrainian fiscal service has been tasked with detecting sources of funding for terrorists. The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and the state enterprise 'EnergoMarket' must exclude from calculations enterprises located in occupied territories.
