Ukrainian Farmers Almost Completed Winter Crop Sowing: Key Figures and Leaders

According to Мін. Економіки: By the middle of November, Ukrainian farmers are actively sowing fields. According to data from November 25, the total area sown with winter crops is 6,429.9 thousand hectares, which is 98.1% of the forecasted areas. Winter wheat leads in sowing areas, reaching 4,692.8 thousand hectares, followed by winter barley at 586.1 thousand hectares and winter rye at 66.3 thousand hectares.
- Chernivtsi and Cherkasy regions are identified as leaders in grain crop sowing.
- In Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, and Chernihiv regions, grain sowing has already been completed.
- Agricultural producers from all regions have practically finished sowing winter rapeseed, with 1,084.7 thousand hectares sown, which is 96.5% of the projected area.
It should be noted that currently, an active agricultural process is observed in Ukraine, providing a positive forecast for the future harvest.
