G7 demands a reboot of Energoatom: what will change in the company

Representatives of the G7 countries support the reform of corporate governance at NAEC 'Energoatom' and demand to hold a competition for the appointment of a new supervisory board by the end of the year. While the competition is ongoing, the government will perform its functions. Additionally, in November 2025, the Ministry of Economy is expected to provide proposals for candidates representing the state on the Supervisory Board.

The government thanks the partners from the G7 countries for their cooperation and support in carrying out the corporate governance reforms.

In their letter, representatives of the G7 countries expressed support for conducting corporate governance reforms on the condition of an open competition and the appointment of a new Supervisory Board. They emphasized the importance of quickly resolving issues related to the management of one of the largest state companies in Ukraine to ensure effective operations and investor confidence in the stability of the situation within the company.
