The Ambassador of Israel to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, personally presented a water purification system to the hospital in Uman before the start of the religious holiday Rosh Hashanah, which attracts Hasidim from around the world every year. The diplomat noted that this assistance is only the beginning, and additional water purification units will be delivered in the near future. Hasidim have already arrived in Uman to celebrate Rosh Hashanah at the gravesite of their spiritual leader. Last year, more than 30,000 pilgrims visited the city, but some Hasidim were unable to arrive this year due to political events and mobility restrictions.
