According to ХВИЛЯ: President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that in 2026, supplies of anti-ballistic missiles for air defense from partners have decreased threefold compared to 2025. This reduction applies to the entire first half of 2026, not just the summer months. The statement was made following a meeting with military officials, the Ministry of Defense, teams from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), and the Office of the President.

Zelensky noted that there is no missile shortage among partners, but there is a lack of political decisions.

“There are missiles available with partners. It is important that there are also necessary political decisions regarding supplies and acceleration of production processes, particularly localization in Ukraine. This is what can significantly support not only our country but also the global defense of life,”

he emphasized in his statement.

Discussion on protecting infrastructure and military priorities

The meeting also discussed the order of additional steps for the protection of Ukraine’s infrastructure facilities. The most attention on the front is given to Kostyantynivka and Sloviansk. Reports on the situation at the contact line were made by military personnel, including Mykhailo Drapatiy, Ihor Skibyuk, and Yevgeniy Khmara. Khmara outlined the needs for ensuring drones and funding, which must be urgently addressed.

The third block of the meeting was dedicated to August priorities regarding long-range strikes against Russia. Zelensky reported that operations against Russian oil facilities and processing are ongoing.

“The cost of prolonging the war for the aggressor will increase. It is important that the sanctions from partners against Russia enhance our long-range influence,”

he noted. Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky along with representatives of Ukrainian business will propose measures to support entrepreneurial and logistical activities.

Personnel issues in the Armed Forces of Ukraine were also discussed at the meeting, indicating a comprehensive approach to the situation on the front and in the country's defense sector.
