Daily Kyiv–Chișinău Train Service Begins June 28
Schedule Updates for the Bessarabia Train
According to УНІАН — Туризм: Starting June 28, the Bessarabia train operating between Kyiv and Chișinău will run on a daily schedule. This change offers passengers traveling between Ukraine and Moldova more convenient connections. Beginning June 29, the departure time from Chișinău shifts to 19:52-one hour later than the previous 17:42 departure.
The train will include second-class and compartment cars, and for the first time on this route, a dedicated children’s car will be added to make family travel more comfortable.
Oleksiy Kuleba noted that the Chișinău route remains a key international destination for Ukrainians, highlighting the importance of easy access to Chișinău International Airport, which offers flights to numerous European countries.
New Routes Launched
Additionally, Ukrzaliznytsia announced a new regional train from Dnipro to Kharkiv starting June 19, and a new daily Intercity train from Dnipro to Odesa is scheduled for June 28. A new daily high-speed Intercity train from Kyiv to Odesa will begin service on June 27.
These developments reflect Ukrzaliznytsia’s active efforts to improve transportation links across Ukraine.
