According to ХВИЛЯ: According to the latest forecast, Ukraine will continue to experience cold and rainy conditions through the end of May. Meteorologist Natalka Didenko has announced that a warming trend will begin on Monday, June 1, bringing summer-like temperatures across the country, with highs expected to reach 20 degrees Celsius.

Before the warm spell arrives, Ukrainians will have to endure two more chilly days marked by cold and wet weather. Didenko advised that

“we just need to hold out today and tomorrow”

and added that starting June 1, it will be possible to

“pack away those tiresome raincoats, sweaters, and puffer jackets and start squinting in the sun and basking in its warmth”

Making Up for the Cold Weather

To compensate for the chilly Green Sunday and the final days of spring, Didenko suggested the following:

• decorating with greenery
• mint
• thyme
• wormwood
• lovage

As a result, Ukrainians will soon be able to enjoy summer days, leaving the cold weather behind.
