Ukrainians affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation can now submit a compensation application to the international Register of Damages for Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

'If you or your loved ones have suffered as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation - have physical or mental injuries, have suffered harm to health, experienced violence, unlawful imprisonment, or torture - you have the right to submit a compensation application to the international Register of Damages for Ukraine (RD4U). This can be done through the 'Diya' portal.'

The application can be submitted under category A2.3 'Serious Bodily Injuries', which covers compensation for moral damage due to serious injuries. You can also include costs for treatment or rehabilitation in the application. It is specified that serious bodily injuries include significant damage or loss of a body part, serious departmental injuries that affect appearance, complex loss of functions of organs or parts of the body, immediate termination of pregnancy, and other injuries that significantly impacted the quality of life of the affected person. The Ministry of Health emphasized that applications will be reviewed by a special commission, and the decision on compensation will be communicated via a personal account on the 'Diya' portal and to the email. It is also noted that it is possible to submit applications simultaneously from different categories such as sexual violence, torture, or captivity. Ukrainians who have suffered from the armed aggression of the Russian Federation can submit a compensation application to the international Register of Damages for Ukraine through the 'Diya' portal. The application may include compensation for moral damage due to serious injuries and costs for treatment or rehabilitation. The review of the application and the possibility of receiving compensation will be coordinated with a commission involving the Ministry of Health.
