Ukraine's economy will grow in 2025: NBU forecast at 2%

The new forecast from the National Bank of Ukraine indicates that the country's economy will slowly, but steadily, continue to GROW. In 2025, a growth of nearly 2% is expected, and in the following two years, the pace may accelerate to 2-3% annually in 2026-2027. This recovery is occurring amid the ongoing war and its consequences.

One of the factors hindering economic growth is the consequences of Russian aggression: loss of people, territories, production capacities, poor harvest, damage to the energy system, and other issues. However, the National Bank of Ukraine sees positivity in supporting the harvest, budget expenditures on the army, infrastructure, and social programs, as well as in international aid, which may exceed 45 billion dollars and will be an important factor for the recovery of the country's economy.
