Russia launched 497 missiles and drones at Ukraine: attack results

According to military sources, the Russians attacked Ukraine:

On the night of October 10, an enemy combined strike was carried out against Ukraine, which included strike drones and missiles. A total of 497 aerial targets were launched. This information was announced by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine based on data from the 'Glavkom' portal.
  • 465 strike UAVs of the Shahed and 'Gerbera' type,
  • two air-launched ballistic missiles Kh-47M2 'Kinzhal',
  • 14 ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M'/KN-23,
  • 12 cruise missiles 'Iskander-K',
  • four guided aviation missiles Kh-59/69.

The air defense response resulted in the destruction or suppression of 420 aerial targets:

  • 405 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and 'Gerbera' type,
  • one air-launched ballistic missile Kh-47M2 'Kinzhal',
  • four ballistic missiles 'Iskander-M'/KN-23,
  • nine cruise missiles 'Iskander-K',
  • one guided aviation missile Kh-59/69.

Direct hits and uncontrolled missile falls:

13 missiles and 60 strike UAVs were recorded at 19 locations, as well as debris falling at seven locations. Four enemy missiles failed to reach their targets and were lost; the locations of their falls are currently being clarified.

On the same night, the Russian Federation attacked the energy infrastructure of Ukraine for the second time, preparing a large-scale strike on facilities that they had targeted in 2022.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the night attack by the Russian Federation included over 450 drones and more than 30 missiles.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga urged international partners to respond to Russian aggression against critically important civilian facilities in Ukraine.

The combined enemy strike against Ukraine on the night of October 10 was large-scale and included the use of drones, missiles of various types, and damage to several aerial targets. The response of the Ukrainian military was effective, destroying or suppressing a significant number of enemy targets. The Russian Federation attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure for the second time, prompting Ukrainian and international officials to call for a response to this aggression.
