Practical driving test: what routes and exercises await drivers
Practical driving test in Ukraine
The practical driving test in Ukraine is conducted according to officially approved routes, which include exercises to check driving skills. This process is regulated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Order No. 515 dated December 7, 2009, which defines the procedure for conducting the practical part of the exam.
The driving candidate must provide the examiner with an identity document and an examination sheet. The practical test for category B takes place in real traffic conditions, allowing for the assessment of actual driving skills. The duration of the practical test on the street and road network is at least 20 minutes, providing an opportunity to thoroughly check the candidate's readiness for driving.
Standards and road safety
The total duration of the practical part of the exam should not exceed 60 minutes. The results of the exam are recorded in the examination sheet, which is then entered into the Unified State Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. These measures ensure high standards of driver training and their compliance with safety requirements on the roads.
This process is important for ensuring road safety in Ukraine, as qualified drivers can reduce the risk of traffic accidents. Adhering to established standards in conducting exams helps to increase the responsibility level of drivers, which in turn affects the overall safety level on Ukrainian roads.
