Zelensky appointed new heads of the SBU in two regions: who received the positions
According to glavcom.ua: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed decrees appointing heads of the Security Service of Ukraine in two regions. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the Office of the President.
By decree No. 588/2025, Semenyuk Konstantyn Ivanovych was appointed as the head of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Poltava region.
By decree No. 587/2025, Kozlov Taras Leonidovych was appointed as the head of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Kirovohrad region.
The law on improving the activities of the SBU
Recall, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the Law 'On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding the Improvement of Certain Issues of the Activities of the Security Service of Ukraine and Its Effectiveness in Connection with Participation in Repelling and Detaining Armed Aggression Against Ukraine.'
By the way, on July 16, the Verkhovna Rada increased the number of the SBU, as well as its combat division.
