Zelensky tasked diplomats: key priorities for 2024
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, gathered the heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions to discuss current tasks and priorities for diplomats. The main emphasis was on the need for support for Ukraine, and every diplomat must be prepared to work for the benefit of the state and its defense.
During the meeting, the necessity of strengthening air defense was expressed, the importance of developing the PURL initiative and directions for increasing contributions to the program were discussed. Issues regarding the return of abducted children and the protection of human rights in occupied territories were also raised, as well as further steps with resolutions in the UN in support of Ukraine.
'Ukraine needs support. And today it is especially important that every diplomat works for the strength of the state, its defense, and the strengthening of our positions.'

The meeting with diplomats highlighted the importance and necessity of their work on the international stage in the interests of Ukraine and the support of the state in the modern world.
