Border guards explained why the threat from Belarus will increase
According to hvylya.net: The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has not currently recorded a concentration of Belarusian or Russian troops near the Ukrainian border. This was stated by spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko during a television broadcast.
'We have not recorded any troop concentrations on the border with Belarus that could pose a threat to us,' emphasized the agency representative.
According to Demchenko, there have been no emergency situations on the border with Belarus at present. However, he noted that this direction remains dangerous for Ukraine and requires increased attention.
Attention to military exercises
Demchenko mentioned the planned upcoming joint military exercises between Belarus and Russia. According to him, the active phase of the exercises is scheduled for September and will require heightened attention from the Ukrainian border guards.
'In the near future, we will pay special attention to the joint military exercises between Belarus and Russia, as the active phase is scheduled for September, and during this period, the threat to us will increase,' emphasized the representative of the State Border Guard Service.
The Ukrainian side continues to enhance security along the border with Belarus in case of possible threats from this direction.
