Forced evacuation of children in Ukraine

According to Главком: Dmytro Lubinets, the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, advocates for the inclusion of forced evacuation of children from conflict zones in the National legislation of Ukraine. According to him, it is necessary to clearly outline the mechanisms for forced evacuation for children in Ukraine, as the state bears responsibility for Ukrainian children.

Decision of the Defense Council of Chernihiv Region

The Defense Council of Chernihiv Region adopted a decision on the mandatory evacuation from 14 border villages. Among them are the communities:

• Novhorod-Siverskyi
• Semenivka
• Snova
• Horodnia

Mandatory evacuation has also been announced for settlements in the Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk region.

In November, the Ministry of Development of Ukraine began the forced evacuation of children from dangerous areas of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. These measures indicate the seriousness of the situation and the need for urgent actions to protect children in conflict conditions.

These steps demonstrate the active efforts of the Ukrainian authorities to protect children during the armed conflict, as the safety and well-being of the younger generation is a priority in such difficult conditions.
