The operation of the border crossing point at the border with Hungary has been suspended

Due to the elimination of the consequences of bad weather, on July 8, the border crossing operations at the 'Dzvinkove - Lonyha' checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border have been temporarily suspended. This was reported by 'Gluahcom' referring to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Temporary stop at 'Solotvyno - Sighetu Marmației' at the border with Romania
At the 'Solotvyno - Sighetu Marmației' checkpoint (at the border with Romania), the processing of vehicles will be temporarily suspended. 'Please take this information into account when planning trips. From July 7 and tentatively until September 3, 2025, repair work will be carried out here - the reconstruction of the bridge over the Tisza River,' border guards emphasize.
We remind you that by 2030 Ukraine plans to update 29 border crossing points and build 17 new ones. In addition, improvements to the 'eQueue' system are planned. It is already operational at 28 border crossings.
During the elimination of the consequences of bad weather at the border with Hungary and Romania, crossing at the 'Dzvinkove - Lonyha' and 'Solotvyno - Sighetu Marmației' points has been temporarily suspended, respectively. For the convenience of passengers, it is recommended to use other border crossing points and consider these restrictions when planning the trip. At the same time, work continues in Ukraine to update border crossing points in order to improve border crossing and convenience for travelers.
