According to Главком: The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, via Hlavkom, forecasts a cold day across the country with light snow and icy roads. In the Carpathian Mountains and the Transcarpathian region, wet snow and rain are expected, with ice formation possible in some areas. Icy conditions on roads are anticipated for most of Ukraine, except the southern parts.

The city of Kyiv will see lows of -12 to -10°C and daytime highs of -3 to -1°C. These conditions are typical for a Ukrainian winter but require heightened caution for travel.

Given the forecast, significant hazards are expected due to widespread ice on roads, which will likely complicate traffic and increase the risk of accidents. Drivers are advised to exercise caution, reduce speed, and maintain a safe following distance. The sharp temperature variations may also affect personal health, so dressing appropriately for the cold is essential.
