Protests Against Limiting the Powers of NABU and SAP. Intelligence Warned of Provocations
Russia Plans to Use the Protests of Ukrainians for Its Own Purposes
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Russian Federation intends to use protests in Ukrainian cities aimed at passing Law No. 12414 in its interests. Russian special services and propagandists are actively studying the situation within the country to undermine defense capabilities, using available influence resources.
"To raise the levels of protests, deepen polarization, and create chaos in Ukrainian society, and, as a result, to cause the state to lose stability during an existential war, provocative actions inspired from Moscow are not ruled out."
Yesterday, July 22, protests took place in cities across Ukraine due to the adoption of Law No. 12414. Citizens in Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro demanded the rejection of this law, which limits the powers of NABU and SAP. It is worth noting that the bill was passed by 263 members of parliament.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and his brother Volodymyr also joined the rally regarding the adoption of Law No. 12414 near the Ivan Franko Theater.
During the protests, Ukrainian citizens expressed their opposition to the adoption of Law No. 12414, which limits the powers of NABU and SAP. The Russian Federation may use these protests for its own purposes, directing frightened citizens against the government and causing chaos in the country.
