'Little Hearts, Big Thanks'

According to МВС: Within the framework of the 'Psychological Practices Point' initiative - itself a component of the nationwide mental health campaign 'How Are You?' - psychologists from the State Emergency Service in the Ternopil region brought together children from the local community to craft handmade hearts and greeting cards for soldiers.

The event was designed to show appreciation for military service and reinforce public solidarity with those on the front lines. Through their artwork, the young participants gave voice to their emotions and support.

“We remember you. Thank you. We are waiting - the kids”

Beyond its symbolic value, the gathering serves a broader purpose: strengthening morale among both children and troops. Introducing younger generations to such initiatives helps cultivate patriotism and a sense of gratitude, while also supporting children’s emotional health by giving them a creative outlet for their feelings - a key part of the program’s mental wellness goals.

In addition to fostering creativity and gratitude, such initiatives play a crucial role in addressing broader social issues among youth. For instance, a recent event where children collaborated with emergency psychologists to tackle bullying highlights the importance of community support in shaping a positive environment for children.
