According to glavcom.ua: First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Kyslytsia stated that a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is only possible after Ukraine agrees to capitulation. This information was published by The Kyiv Independent, citing Kyslytsia's comments during an interview.

According to Kyslytsia, the Russian delegation operates under strict rules established by Putin, while the Ukrainian team is open to discussions. Putin demands Ukraine's capitulation as a condition for negotiations, which is a new development.

They clearly say: 'First you meet our demands - capitulation - and only then we will organize a meeting of the leaders. After that, you can deal with fulfilling these demands,' Kyslytsia explained.

Lavrov has already voiced the conditions under which the Kremlin is ready for peace with Ukraine. Among them are the denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine, lifting sanctions, and much more. Russia maintains that they are ready for a peaceful resolution of the conflict, but on their terms, where the main goal is a strong peace, not just a ceasefire.

The Ukrainian side is characterized by openness and discussions, while Russia puts forward strict demands, including capitulation, as a condition for negotiations.
