The Senate is set to consider three bills aimed at increasing pressure on Russia. A vote is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, when NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte meets with US President Donald Trump and lawmakers. According to Axios, the adoption of these bills will allow senators to more actively counter Moscow and demonstrate Congress's readiness for decisive action.The bills propose recognizing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism due to the kidnapping of Ukrainian children, imposing economic sanctions against China for supporting Russia's war in Ukraine, and also using frozen Russian assets in the US to transfer them to Ukraine every 90 days.It was previously reported that Russia has been actively attacking Ukraine's energy networks and cities. Currently, important steps are intensifying pressure on Moscow and supporting Ukraine in the conflict with Russia.
