Putin will place the 'Oreshnik' closer to Kyiv. Lukashenko announced the details
Lukashenko has surprised the public with his decisions more than once. Here, he is simply showcasing a new missile system like some kind of monster. It will be interesting to see what the outside world will say about this. But perhaps there is nothing to think about, as this has already become routine for Lukashenko.
According to glavcom.ua: The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, announced that the Russian missile system 'Oreshnik' will be deployed on the territory of the republic by the end of 2025. He made this statement at a ceremonial event marking Belarus's Independence Day, noting that a corresponding agreement was reached with the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin during their meeting in Volgograd. This was reported by 'Glavkom'.
The self-proclaimed president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, issued a decree to release 14 political prisoners at the request of US President Donald Trump. This was stated by his press secretary Natalia Eismont, as reported by a Telegram channel close to Lukashenko called 'Pool of the First'.
This is something new and unexpected from Lukashenko. Releasing political prisoners at Trump's request looks like an attempt to find an ally on the international stage. But whether these actions will go unanswered by other countries remains to be seen over time.
