EU Council approved a complete ban on Russian gas: what this means for Ukraine

The EU Council has adopted a position on the complete abandonment of Russian gas. The ban on imports of Russian natural gas is planned until 2028, and this applies to both pipeline and liquefied gas.
A Joint Operations Group has been established and the first deputy head of the State Border Guard Service has been appointed
Changes have been made in the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the structure, and a new Joint Operations Group has been created, which will be led by Major General Mykhailo Drapaty. Valeriy Vavryniuk has also been appointed as the first deputy head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
