The Verkhovna Rada allowed recruiters access to the Obereg: what does this mean

According to glavcom.ua: A law has been passed that gives recruitment centers access to the 'Obereg' register. This will facilitate the recruitment process for military service under contract, quickly and effectively selecting candidates for the Armed Forces. The law provides for the inclusion of Ukraine's Armed Forces recruiting centers in the list of entities that have access to the register to avoid duplication of functions between TCCs and recruiting structures.

Deputies believe that this step is necessary to improve Ukraine's defense system and respond to the needs of the country's Armed Forces. It is also noted that in case of incorrect penalties imposed by TCCs, Ukrainians have the right to appeal them in court, as the data is pulled from the 'Obereg' register.
