According to Главком: On June 8, emergency workers in the Vinnytsia region rescued four animals, including three puppies and one kitten. In the town of Turbiv, firefighters from the local fire brigade pulled three puppies from a septic pit, where they had been stranded for several days-wet, frightened, and exhausted. After the rescue, the young animals were handed over to kind-hearted individuals, according to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Vinnytsia Oblast.

In the Poltava region, in Kremenchuk, rescuers freed another kitten that had become trapped between concrete structures on the premises of a café. A new home was found for the kitten. Additionally, in the Chernihiv region, in the Koriukivka district, emergency workers saved a cat that was trapped under debris following a Russian strike.
