According to УНІАН — Туризм: Time Out and Intrepid Travel conducted a survey among Generation Z to determine the best cities to live in worldwide. The main criteria for Z's were walkability and the ability to enjoy nature. The results of the study indicate that Tokyo ranked first, followed by Porto, Melbourne, Edinburgh, and Shanghai.

Tokyo received high ratings from young people: 100% of respondents stated that they find joy in daily life in this city. Additionally, 89% of respondents positively rated the nightlife quality, although only 33% consider Tokyo an accessible city. Porto took second place, where 100% of respondents positively assessed the atmosphere, and 93% noted its accessibility.

• Shanghai: 63% of respondents consider the city welcoming, 76% indicated ease in making new acquaintances, 83% stated their happiness level has increased.

Additionally, Porto offers free admission to the National Museum of Soares dos Reis on Sundays with a citizen card, and the Portuguese Center for Photography operates free of charge every day.

Euronews also presented a selection of 10 picturesque and original tourist destinations, including Ghent (Belgium), Banff (Canada), and Jeonju (South Korea). These data highlight the growing interest of Generation Z in cities that combine modernity and the opportunity to enjoy nature, which is becoming an important factor in choosing a place to live.

The study conducted by Time Out and Intrepid Travel shows that the younger generation seeks to live in cities that offer not only convenience but also opportunities for an active lifestyle and cultural development.
