Record results of the National Multidisciplinary Test: an unexpected leader among subjects
The Ministry of Education and Science predicts that by 2025, around half a million applicants will apply to professional and technical education institutions and higher educational establishments. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mykhailo Vinnitsky during a telemarathon on July 3.
According to the Deputy Minister, 125 thousand applicants have already registered their electronic cabinets as of today. This opportunity became available for higher educational institutions on July 1, while for professional and technical educational institutions, registration opened earlier.
'We expect about half a million because this year, graduate cabinets need to be opened for bachelor's, professional and technical, and master's programs, as well as for postgraduate studies,' Vinnitsky explained.
The Deputy Minister also noted that there were technical issues with Gmail mailboxes on the portal; however, this issue was resolved.
Let us remind you that the main session of the National Multidisciplinary Test lasted from May 14 to June 25. This year, 317,083 participants registered for the NMT, exceeding the figures from 2024. The additional session will last until July 25 for those who could not pass the test during the main session for valid reasons.
As of July 1, the Ministry received results from 13 out of 17 main NMT sessions, covering more than 218 thousand participants. The results of the remaining sessions will be published later.
The highest number of participants who scored the maximum of 200 points was recorded in mathematics — 1163 people. English is in second place with 765 maximum scores, followed by Ukrainian in third place with 658 participants who scored 200 points. A total of 2414 applicants passed at least one subject at the maximum score.
Applicants can register their electronic cabinet until October 20, 2025, but the Ministry of Education and Science advises to focus on the deadline for submitting applications to the chosen educational institution.
The forecasts from the Ministry of Education and Science for 2025 confirm a growth in the number of applicants wishing to obtain higher or professional technical education. Against this backdrop, it is important to register on time for selection and test-taking to improve one's opportunities in the future.
