Repair Work on the Heating Network in the Dniprovskyi District of Kyiv
According to Главком: Repair work on the heating network is ongoing in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, which became necessary after a hostile attack at the end of December. As a result of this work, heat supply is limited for 337 consumers. The repairs began on January 2 and are being carried out along Sobornosti Avenue.
Impact on Social Infrastructure
The following will be left without heat:
- 160 residential buildings
- 14 kindergartens
- 9 schools
- 3 polyclinics
- 151 departmental institutions
This is the result of a massive shelling of Kyiv that took place on the night of December 27, which led to disruptions in electricity and heat supply. As of the morning of December 28, specialists managed to restore power to critical infrastructure, and by the evening of the same day, heat supply for more than 3.5 thousand buildings in Kyiv was restored.
The completion of the repair work on the heating network is planned within one day, which is expected to allow for the restoration of heat supply for all affected consumers.
This situation emphasizes the importance of ensuring the stable operation of critical infrastructure under conditions of military action.
The repair work on the heating network is an important step towards restoring normal living conditions for the residents of the district. At the same time, such shellings continue to threaten the viability of urban infrastructure, requiring prompt actions from local services.
