Russian Nighttime Strike on Dnipropetrovsk Region Kills One, Damages Three Districts
Strike Targets Dnipropetrovsk Region
According to Главком: In a nighttime assault on March 2, Russian forces attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the death of a 55-year-old man in the Pokrovska community of the Synelnykivskyi district. The man was extracted from the rubble of his destroyed home. The attack impacted three districts across the region, causing significant destruction.
Extensive Damage Across the Region
In Kryvyi Rih, several fires broke out on the premises of an industrial enterprise, and a transport company was damaged. In the city of Apostolove within the Kryvorizkyi district, another transport company sustained damage. Within the Pokrovska community, two private homes were destroyed and four others were damaged. Additionally, a five-story residential building was hit in the Nikopol district.
Commenting on the events, Oleksandr Ganzha noted:
'The enemy struck Kryvyi Rih. An enterprise in the city has been damaged. Several fires occurred there.' Oleksandr Ganzha
This attack is part of the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine, where civilian infrastructure has repeatedly been targeted. The Dnipropetrovsk region, a major industrial and population center, has faced frequent shelling since the full-scale invasion began.
