Russia attacked Kryvyi Rih with drones: one woman killed, 23 people injured

According to Главком: On the night of January 10, Russian occupation troops carried out an attack on Kryvyi Rih using drones. As a result of this attack, several explosions occurred, resulting in 23 people injured, among whom were 6 children and 8 women. Unfortunately, a 77-year-old woman lost her life due to the attack.
Head of the Defense Council of Kryvyi Rih Oleksandr Vilkul reported the explosions, urging residents to take care of themselves and their loved ones. Currently, 15 injured individuals are in hospitals, one of whom is in extremely serious condition. Earlier, Kryvyi Rih had already experienced a combined attack when missiles and drones hit the city.
Attack on Dnipropetrovsk Region
The attack was not limited to Kryvyi Rih; the Russian army also attacked Dnipropetrovsk region, with two 'Iskander-M' missiles hitting a residential area. As a result of the shelling, infrastructure was damaged in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad districts. Most consumers in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions were left without electricity supply.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko to respond to this situation. The situation in the region remains complex, and local authorities urge the population to adhere to safety measures.
The attack on Kryvyi Rih and other populated areas of Dnipropetrovsk highlights the intensification of military actions in Ukraine, particularly the increased intensity of shelling of civilian facilities. Considering the significant casualties among the civilian population and damage to infrastructure, the response of local authorities and the central government is critically important for ensuring the safety of the population and restoring the viability of the region. The situation indicates the need for further international support for Ukraine in the context of the war.
