Russia is preparing to launch 2000 drones over Ukraine simultaneously - German general

According to glavcom.ua: According to a German general, Russian terrorists are planning an attack using up to 2000 drones over Ukraine. This threat has already been detected by the military in Germany, who acknowledged that such an attack could pose a serious challenge to Ukrainian air defense.

However, traditional countermeasures, such as the use of Patriot missiles, would be ineffective in the case of an attack with such a large number of drones. The cost of one drone ranges from 30,000 to 50,000 euros, whereas the price of a Patriot missile exceeds 5 million euros. The general expressed the opinion that economically more viable solutions should be sought in the range of 2,000 to 4,000 euros per unit to effectively respond to mass attacks from Russia.

Therefore, Ukrainian military forces should quickly develop and implement new strategies to counter drone attacks, as this threat becomes increasingly relevant and serious.
