Meeting of Zelensky with Trump

A meeting took place in New York between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and American leader Donald Trump.

During the meeting, Zelensky reported that Ukrainian defenders liberated 360 sq. km over the past few weeks: 'Our soldiers occupied 360 sq. km in the last day and surrounded 1,000 soldiers, of course, we want to exchange, but in any case, we need our soldiers.'

By the way, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky positively assessed the meeting with American leader Donald Trump. This was reported by 'Glavcom' citing 'Suspilne'.

'It was a very good meeting today... It was probably the most content-filled one,' the president said about his first impressions after the meeting with Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

After the meeting with Zelensky, Trump posted stating that Ukraine is capable of restoring its full territorial integrity with the support of the European Union, and then, possibly, 'going even further'. He shared his thoughts on the social network Truth Social, reports 'Glavcom'.

Trump claims that after analyzing the military and economic situation in both countries, he concluded that Ukraine has the potential to fight and regain all its original territories. He emphasized that for this, 'time, patience, and financial support' from Europe and NATO are needed.

The American leader called Russia a 'paper tiger,' as, according to him, a real military power could have ended such a war in a week, whereas the RF has been fighting for three and a half years.

The meeting of the Ukrainian president with the American leader underscored the importance of support and cooperation between the countries in the context of the Ukrainian conflict with Russia.
