Russia has modernized Shaheds: drones now target moving online targets

Ukrainian kamikaze drones 'Shahed' have been updated and now they have transformed into controlled FPV drones capable of real-time reconnaissance and targeting moving objects thanks to new cameras and Chinese-origin radio modems.Expert Serhiy 'Flash' explained that the new communication system allows the drones to form a reliable network among themselves, making the connection stable and allowing the use of ground repeaters to boost the signal.With the updates to the 'Shaheds', new threats have emerged, such as real-time reconnaissance, precise targeting in the final stages of the attack, and the ability to conduct combat operations against moving targets. The expert emphasized the importance of creating a centralized 'engineering headquarters' in Ukraine to analyze potential threats and develop countermeasures.
