Росія має намір вийти на рекордні обсяги виробництва авіабомб у 2025 році: які наслідки це може мати?

Russia plans to ramp up the production of guided aerial bombs and drones

According to glavcom.ua: The Russian Federation plans to significantly increase the production of guided aerial bombs (GAB) and long-range drones by 2025. According to Ukrainian intelligence, this means the production of about 120 thousand GABs and over 70 thousand drones. This was reported by Vadim Skibitsky, Deputy Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate, in an interview with Reuters.

According to GUR information, during this period, Russia may produce 120 thousand guided aerial bombs and over 70 thousand long-range drones, including 30 thousand attack drones of the 'Shahed' type.

New opportunities and threats

Skibitsky stated that Russia is working on improving its guided aerial bombs. Among the new modifications will be 500 bombs with an increased range of up to 200 km, and there are plans to develop modifications that will allow the bombs to fly up to 400 km. This will enable the Russian army to attack Ukrainian cities without missiles and strike more targets simultaneously.

"It is in 'Alabuzha' that long-range drones of the Shaded/'Geran' type are produced, with which the Russian army carries out terrorist strikes on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine. To discuss the details of selling labor, a meeting of local officials with representatives of the North Korean company Jihyang Technology Trade Company, responsible for the search and selection of Korean workers, took place at the end of October at the Russian Foreign Ministry," the intelligence emphasizes.

Currently, the Russian army releases from 200 to 250 gliding bombs on Ukraine daily, significantly exceeding the average figures for October, when about 170 GABs were released per day. It is also worth noting that by the end of 2025, Russia plans to attract North Korean workers to enterprises in Tatarstan.

According to intelligence reports, Russian employers will offer imported labor a salary of about $2.5 per hour, and during the working day, employees will work at least 12 hours.

At the next stage, the production of new modifications of drones and guided aerial bombs is planned, increasing their range and accuracy, which could pose a serious threat to Ukraine's security. The expansion of drone and GAB production in Russia is a troubling signal, and the Ukrainian government may pay more attention to enhancing the country's security and measures to counter these threats.
