Russia is back at sea!

According to glavcom.ua: Russia has launched enormous naval exercises in the Pacific, Arctic, Baltic, and Caspian Seas to test its fleet's readiness for any situation. The news was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry, which declared the start of training within an event called 'July Storm'. They will last from July 23 to July 27 and will include the use of the latest technologies, such as unmanned systems.

Participants in the exercises should practice various scenarios - from engaging in combat actions and defending bases to defeating enemy naval formations, the military agency explained.

More than 150 military ships, 120 aircraft, 10 coastal missile systems, nearly a thousand units of military equipment, and over 15,000 servicemen will participate in these drills.

According to NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, Putin currently has no plans to attack Alliance countries, but the future, he says, could be unpredictable in five to seven years.

The Russian 'July Storm' exercises evoke strong reactions from the international community as they raise fears of possible military actions in the region. Monitoring of the tense situation in the seas continues.
